Dr. Lloyd Kitchin
Dr. Kitchin is a life long New Jersey resident and has been practicing general and cosmetic
dentistry for more than 25 years. His peers chose him as a "2010 New Jersey Monthly Top
Dentist." Dr. Kitchin is committed to remaining on the leading edge of dental technologies
and treatment.
Dr. Kitchin received his Bachelor of Science degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University followed by his DMD from Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dentistry in 1982. Following dental school Dr. Kitchin completed a general practice residency at Morristown Memorial Hospital where he trained in restorative prosthetic, periodontic, endodontic, surgical and emergency dentistry. He received additional training in general anesthesia, IV sedation, pharmacology, oral medicine and medical emergencies. Dr. Kitchin also completed two years of additional orthodontic training and internship at the Orthodontic Institute of Downingtown, PA in 1989. He is a member of the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, Tri-County Dental Society and also received a fellowship in The Academy of General Dentistry. He is Invisalign and Clear Correct certified.
Continuing Education and Community Involvement:
Dr. Kitchin remains on the leading edge of dental treatment and technology by taking hundreds of hours of continuing education courses each year through the Academy of Comprehensive Esthetics, Excellence in Dentistry and other organizations. He is a member of the Academy of Comprehensive Esthetics and Academy of General Dentistry and has trained with some of the world's finest dental expert practitioners.
Dr. Kitchin has been in private practice since 1983 and has practiced in Succasunna, NJ since 1990. The practice has been at its present location at 40 Main Street, Succasunna since relocating March of 2002.
On a personal note, Dr. Kitchin resides locally with his wife of 29 years, Carol and his four children. Together with his family they sail competitively and enjoy skiing, water-skiing, biking and hiking.
Christine Foster, DDS
Dr. Christine Foster earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Pennsylvania State University, and
her Doctorate in Dental Surgery with honors at the University of Maryland. Upon graduation, Dr.
Foster furthered her education by completing a one year General Practice Residency at the West Palm
Beach VA Medical Center.
Dr. Foster has since been practicing general dentistry in Vero Beach, Florida, and is relocating to New Jersey to be closer to her family. While she is away from the office, she enjoys running, yoga, and spending time with her husband and two daughters.
Terry - Office Manager
Terry helps keep the office organized and running smoothly. She is responsible for the bookkeeping,
payroll and general duties.
Laurie - Treatment Coordinator
Laurie has worked with Dr. Kitchin since May 2007. She has many years of administrative experience.
Her responsibilities include patient scheduling, filing insurance claims, collection and payment plans.
Robin - Patient Coordinator
Robin is one of the first faces you'll see at Dr. Kitchin's office. With her many years of administrative
experience, she will help address your concerns, schedule your appointments, work with new patients and she
helps keep the office organized. She has worked at the practice since Dec. 2002.
Cristina, C.D.A., R.D.A - Dental Assistant
Cristina has been in dentistry for twenty years. She has worked for Dr. Kitchin since 2004. Cristina
is responsible for chair-side dental assisting, patient comfort, patient education and maintaining dental
supply inventory.
Pamela R. - Dental Assistant
Pam has been a Dental Assistant since 1986. She worked for Dr. Kitchin from 1995 to 2000. After taking a break
to raise her children, Pam returned to the practice to assist Dr. Kitchin and Dr. Foster with dental procedures,
teaching patients about proper oral health, and taking patient x-rays.
Kathy, RDH - Dental Hygienist
Kathy has been a Dental Hygienist since 1987. She is a graduate of Wichita State University and is licensed
in four states. Kathy has worked with Dr. Kitchin for 11 years as a Dental Hygienist where she helps patients
maintain healthy mouths through cleaning teeth, periodontal education and home care instruction.
Kim - Dental Hygienist
Kim graduated from UMDNJ in 1994 with a degree in Dental Assisting. She went back to complete her
degree in Dental Hygiene and graduated in 1996. Kim has worked as a hygienist at Dr. Kitchin's practice
since 2007.
Pam V. - Dental Hygienist
Pam has been working at Dr. Kitchin's office from just about the beginning - both the beginning
of the practice, and the beginning of her dental career. She started as a registered dental assistant in July
1991 (one year after she graduated from West Essex High School), and continued to work at the office as she
went through hygiene school, graduating from UMDNJ in 1994. She also has her license to give local anesthesia.
